Post 41 is about people - its officers, staff, brother and sister organizations, community partners, its 388 members, and you!
Community Partners
Post 41 has enjoyed a proud partnership with the Aleethia Foundation and the Walter Reed Society. This partnership has allowed our Post to host dinners for wounded, ill, and injured service members and their families over the past 12 years. In 2024, the Aleethia Foundation transferred their involvement with these dinners to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
Founded in 1996, the Walter Reed Society serves the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. The society supports activities and fund projects to benefit service members and medical center staff, provides good stewardship of the funds donated and grants awarded to assist service members and/or their family members, and seeks to preserve the legacy of Walter Reed.
Disabled American Veterans provides free, professional assistance to more than 1 million veterans every year to connect them with the healthcare, disability, employment, education and financial benefits they have earned through military service. The past 100 years, we have submitted more than 11.7 million claims on their behalf.
