The greater Silver Spring area is packed with talented local musicians. Post 41 provides our local celebrities with a place where they can gather, perform, and network.
Come out and have a great time! You can sit back and enjoy the shows or march yourself up to the mic and show us what you’ve got!
Food and beverage prices are great, and the crowd is “the friendliest around.”

Post 41 offers multiple evenings of music, each of which is hosted by a different house band or musician’s organization.

1st Fridays:

Various bands host this night of rock, R&B, Motown, and more. There’s no cover, so come out and dance!
1st Saturdays: with Apollo 66 & Friends
Every 1st SATURDAY of the montH | 7:00pm - CLOSE
Apollo 66 brings to “1st Saturdays” the area’s finest punk heavy-hitters! If you like your music loud, proud, and in your gut, don’t miss this night! No cover!
1st Sundays: DC Blues Society Jam
Every 1St SUNDAY of the montH | 4:00 - 8:00pm
Join the DC Blues Society for a gathering of pro, semi-pro and hobby blues musicians practicing and showing their stuff. Everyone is invited to play, dance, or just sit back and enjoy the great sounds. No cover and, as usual, reasonable drink prices.
2nd Saturdays: The Loose Ends & Friends
Every 2nd SATURDAY of the montH | 7:00pm - CLOSE
The Loose Ends brings together a multi-band evening of roots rock featuring SIX live acts playing everything from blues, outlaw country, rockabilly, indie, all types of rock and roll and more! Stay for the OPEN JAM starting around 11. No cover!
3rd & 4th Saturdays
7:00pm - 10pm
Check this site for the latest entertainment on the 3rd and 4th Saturdays. Come out and dance with some local entertainment or just sit back and enjoy the show! Either way, the joint will be rockin’! No cover!
PLUS Every Wednesday is Hump Day!
6:30 PM - 9:30 Pm
JAM every Wednesday from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM! No cover! Everyone enjoys this opportunity to play for and with others!
